Become A Man In Harmonious Accord With Heaven

Book: Discourse on Chuang Tzu

Chuang Tzu promoted carefree wandering and becoming one with “Tao” by freeing oneself from entanglement through the Taoist principle of non-causative action.

Excerpt from book Discourse On Chuang Tzu / Chapter 23 Keng-sang Ch’u

The man who has had his feet chopped off as punishment, discards implements of adornment as he does away with praise and blame. Criminals under sentence of death will climb to any height without fear, because they have abandoned all thoughts of life and death. Whoever becomes compatible with reciprocating motion until he weans himself from all forms of dependence pertaining to his person Oblivious of his person, he will consequently become a man in harmonious accord with heaven.
