The Right Fit

Book: Discourse on Chuang Tzu

Chuang Tzu promoted carefree wandering and becoming one with “Tao” by freeing oneself from entanglement through the Taoist principle of non-causative action.

Excerpt from book Discourse On Chuang Tzu / Chapter 19 Attaining the Reality of Life

When the foot is oblivious to the shoe it wears, it is because it is the right fit and so they match each other. When the waist is oblivious to the girdle around it, it is because they are right match for each other. When the mind is oblivious to right and wrong, it is because they fit and match the mind. When what is inside does not change, and what is outside does not distract, they is an easy mastery of affairs. He who begins with the right fit and never experiences what is not the right fit, possesses the fit that is oblivious to the ease of the matching fit.
