Yiwulü Mountain (Chinese: 医巫闾山) is one of the Three Greatest Mountains of Northeast China. It is located in the western part of Beizhen City, in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. Its highest peak is 867 meters above sea level. It is located about 5 kilometers west of the center of Beizhen City, in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province.
“Yiwulü” comes from a Manchu language word, meaning “full of green”. Yiwulü Mountain has been hailed as the first among the three most renowned northeastern mountains (Yiwulü Mountain, Qianshan, Changbai Mountain). The mountain has more than 4,000 years of history and was often used by emperors when they were enthroned as rulers in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. There are around 50 mountain hills and several famous scenery sites. Taoist temples were mostly reconstructed in Liao and Jin periods.
